What MidAgeDiet is for
MidAgeDiet publishes practical nutrition reading for adults over 40. We focus on ordinary food patterns, including added sugar, sodium, saturated fat, cholesterol, meal structure, and habits that can fit real life. Our goal is to make useful health information easier to understand without treating food as a moral test.
How we develop articles
Articles are written by the MidAgeDiet Editorial Team. We start with established public-health and clinical-information sources, then translate broad guidance into practical questions about meals and routines. We aim to distinguish clearly between a general pattern worth noticing and a recommendation that requires individual medical care.
How we choose sources
We prioritize primary public-health agencies, government dietary guidance, and established medical or professional organizations. Depending on the topic, sources may include the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute on Aging, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the American Heart Association. Links appear in each article’s Sources section.
What we do not do
MidAgeDiet does not diagnose conditions, interpret test results, prescribe treatment, or provide individualized meal plans. We do not promise a particular weight, laboratory result, or health outcome. No article replaces care from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history, medications, symptoms, and goals.
Updates and corrections
We review articles when relevant guidance changes or when a reader identifies a factual issue. Material corrections are reflected in the page’s modified date. To report a concern, source issue, or correction, contact hello@midagediet.com.
Using AI responsibly
We may use AI-assisted tools during drafting and editing. Editorial judgment, source selection, final wording, and publication decisions remain the responsibility of the MidAgeDiet Editorial Team. Every health-related article includes sources and a general-information disclaimer.
